Season Opener

The KGC team is thankful for your support and understanding over the last two (2) weeks. We went from not knowing if we could open to having close to 300 members signup and averaging close to 200 rounds played per day since May 16th. This coupled with a new point-of-sale and accounting system, providing food and beverage services from the pro shop and implementing numerous safety protocols. Again, thank you for making our season opener a success šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Alain, Tom, Nancy, Johanne, Luc, Felix & Patrick

Power Carts

We recently received good news regarding power carts.

Cart Dividers

You may install a divider in your cart. There are many different options available in the marketplace, but you must be sure that the cart divider is structurally sound, properly attached to the cart, and does not impeded the driverā€™s vision while providing enough coverage to clearly separate the 2 golfers from touching during the round.

2 Golf Bags on 1 Power Cart

You are now allowed to have 2 golf bags on 1 power cart as long as only 1 golfer actually drives the cart during the entire round. Golfers must use the Physical Distancing Rule (always remain 6-feet apart from your playing partner) and donā€™t touch each otherā€™s playing equipment. Golfers must be made aware to not reach for clubs at the same time if they are both hitting a shot from the same area.

Handicap Computer

Many members have inquired about the use of the handicap computer. The computer continues to be out of order to minimize the number of points of contact. In addition, the handicap software requires updating. Until then, we propose the following solutions to track your scores, handicap and stats.

Golf Canada Golf Membership ā€“ Only $38
ā€¢ Access the Golf Canada Score Centre to post your scores and track your stats via your smartphone or computer.
ā€¢ 25% off Avis car rentals
ā€¢ 25% off Levelwear
ā€¢ 10% off Hilton hotel rooms
ā€¢ Up to $2,500 on damaged, lost of stolen equipment
ā€¢ Up to $1,000 towards the cost of replacing or repairing a window
ā€¢ And much more

Sign up at the pro shop or contact AndrƩ to activate your Golf Canada membership today!

Keep your scorecards and enter your scores in the computer at a later date.

Match Play

The Menā€™s and Ladiesā€™ Match Play presented by Telus will again go ahead this year. Menā€™s and Ladiesā€™ divisions will have an ā€œAā€ and ā€œBā€ side. Golfers eliminated in the first round will go to the ā€œBā€ side and compete for the consolation prize. This means that everyone will play a minimum of two (2) matches. All match play rules and details to follow. Deadline to register is June 10. Please sign up at the pro shop. Cost is $20.

Accounts Policy (Pro Shop)

All prizes won from ladiesā€™/menā€™s night, couplesā€™ night and any other events will be credited directly to your account. You will see your credit (or balance owing) on your Chronogolf dashboard.

Prizes are non transferable and can be used towards green fees, carts and pro shop merchandise only. If an amount is outstanding on your account for food or beverages, your prize will be credited once the amount owing is cleared.

All member account credits will expire on December 15, 2020. It is recommended that you use up all your credits before the end of the season.

The intent of the policy is to avoid having members accumulate large amounts of credits year over year. It also allows the club to better manage merchandise in the pro shop and be able to offer newer and current inventory at the start of each season. We appreciate your cooperation
